David Spade is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer born July 22, 1964, in Birmingham, Michigan. He rose to prominence as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (1990-1996) and starred in hit comedies including Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, and Just Shoot Me!, for which he received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Known for his sharp wit, sarcasm, and self-deprecating humor, Spade continues to perform stand-up nationwide and co-hosts the popular podcast Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey.
