Del Vox packs a melodic punch and delivers music that provides an emotionally rich experience. The band's members come from long standing musical acts with diverse backgrounds. They've played a variety of venues and festivals across both the US, Europe, and Australia. Members include singer/songwriter Sherri Jerome on guitar, keyboard and vocals, Michael Beckworth on electric guitar, Aimee Zoe Tubbs on drums, and Mikel McDermott on bass. Del Vox is a band that embodies the duplexity of the DayGlow genre, playing punk-tinged, bluesy garage rock with a touch of psychedelic soul. It is upper atmospheric, solar radiant, rock music, that falls somewhere between here and halfway to the moon. "Rock, without irony, all past love and earthy. This is the business of the band Del Vox from Seattle. The guitars are in the foreground, the sound has something dizzy, something psychedelic, the soul glimmers sometimes - in the way, as it does with Jack White" - Virtual Nights Frankfurt "Among the new wave of uproarious, punk-tinged garage rock outfits from all over the world emblematic of the genre today, Del Vox is a rootsier and more tried-and-true garage rock outfit most reminiscent of ’60s greats. Del Vox trades lo-fi guitar grime and unrestrained vocals for classy, rich guitar melodies, sweet, even-keeled vocals, and a strong influence from soul and blues music. It’s hard to listen to the band’s music and sit still; they excel when it comes to the almighty rhythm guitar, whose groove is constantly locked in step with Aimee Zoe’s tight drumming. Guitarist and vocalist Sherri Jerome is the final puzzle piece in the band’s winning sound, laying down her charismatic, soulful vocals over the driving instrumentals. Del Vox has brought their swagger and stirring live performances to festivals and venues all across not only the United States, but Europe and Australia.
