A: Technically we all met in New York City, but as far as the IRS is concerned, Fantastic Cat is based in the Cayman Islands. And it’s a church. Q: When are you eligible to be nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? A: We’ve been told repeatedly (and, the last few times we asked, quite rudely) that we’ll only become eligible for nomination 25 years after the release of our debut album, ‘The Very Best of Fantastic Cat.’ Since that came out in 2022, we’re looking at 2047 at the earliest here.
