Frank Maza is a multifaceted composer and singer based in Boston, influenced by his flamenco, latin and jazz roots. Despite his youth, he has already worked with numerous artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Kiki Morente, Asghar Farhadi, Nella, Carmen Linares, and Juan Luis Guerra. In this album, he presents his own american songs accompanied by top-tier selection of cuban musicians led by Chucho Valdés and Iván ‘Melón’ Lewis on piano, Reinier Elizarde ‘El Negrón’on upright bass, Yuri Nogueira on percussion, and Javier Limón on flamenco guitar. His artistic journey is a compelling narrative of duality, a story of contrasting yet complementary cultural and musical traditions. His life and career are a testament to the power of synthesis, where separate influences converge to create a unique and innovative artistic voice.
