Hailey Henderson loves connecting deeply with the people around her, and art is her favorite conduit for connection. The Theatre is sacred to her. She is powered by making art, drinking coffee, and finding new and innovative ways to include sunflowers in her research. She grew up in the magical red rock canyon country of Moab, Utah. Two park rangers raised her, so her love for performing began with howling at the moon and storytelling around the campfire. With a bit of red dirt ground into her small-town soul, she left Moab to study theatre in the screaming metropolis of Salt Lake City, where she earned her BFA in Performing Arts at Westminster College. After graduating she toured with Salt Lake City’s Classical Greek Theatre Festival for two seasons and later moved to Eugene, Oregon where she performed in several productions while deepening her relationship to visual arts working as a Chalk Artist at Trader Joes. In 2017, she moved to Seattle to attend the Professional Actor Training Program at the University of Washington, where she earned her MFA in Acting. Henderson is a proud Pacific Northwest–based artist and is a local hire in both Portland and Seattle. Hailey loves devising her own work and feels deeply passionate about spreading empathy through storytelling.
