John Dwyer is an American multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter best known as the founding member and primary songwriter of the garage rock band Osees, with whom he has released 28 studio albums. Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, he has been a driving force of the American rock underground since 1997, exploring psychedelic garage rock, noise rock, and experimental electronic music under various projects including his solo alias Damaged Bug. He is also the co-founder of Castle Face Records and has collaborated with numerous artists on freely improvised experimental albums.
