Lucas Victor is a performing guitarist and composer who presents a variety of traditional, contemporary and rare compositions from a wide variety of styles and time periods, ranging from the music of the Renaissance to compositions by living and local composers. Lucas also features his own compositions and transcriptions in concerts. Lucas held a position in Mark Wilson's Seattle Guitar Orchestra for several years and has played with them as a guest artist as well. A recent concert of note with Seattle Guitar Orchestra included playing the solo in Oleg Boyko's concerto, The Secret Life of Trees, at its world premiere at the Northwest Guitar Festival. He was also honored to play the solo in the concerto live on Seattle radio station, Classical King FM with S.G.O.. Lucas is featured on two Albums from S.G.O. - TÁYÉWÒ (Experience Life) (2023), and Pilgrimages (2021). Other recent concerts include guest artist performances with the Ladies' Musical Club of Seattle Public Concert Series and a collaboration with Naeim Rahmani to perform 'The Wheel,' a one-of-a-kind concert presenting new compositions by Iranian and American composers together with the Seattle Mandolin Orchestra. Lucas was also featured at Meany Hall to open the University Chorale concert Songs of the Americas, performed several times on the Intersections concert series, and gave a solo concert on the KSER.fm at the Co-op concert series in Everett, WA.
