Meghan Trainor is an American singer-songwriter and television personality born in Nantucket, Massachusetts in 1993. She rose to prominence with her 2014 debut single "All About That Bass," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and has since released six studio albums blending pop, R&B, doo-wop, and blue-eyed soul. A Grammy Award winner, she is known for her retro-influenced sound and empowerment-focused lyrics.
