John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band is an American rock band from Narragansett, Rhode Island, formed in 1972, that achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the Eddie and the Cruisers soundtrack. Known for their Springsteen-esque heartland rock sound, they scored a number 7 hit with 'On the Dark Side' and have placed 35 songs in major motion pictures.
