Texas Is the Reason is an American post-hardcore band founded by guitarist Norman Brannon and drummer Chris Daly in 1994. Known for their influential work in the emo and post-hardcore genres, the band released landmark albums including 'Do You Know Who You Are?' (1996) and their self-titled debut (1995).
