Bonnie Raitt is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist born in 1949 who blends blues, rock, folk, country, and R&B. Since her 1971 debut, she has released critically acclaimed roots-influenced albums and achieved major commercial success with her 1989 album Nick of Time, which won Grammy Award for Album of the Year. A Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with 13 competitive Grammy Awards, she is recognized as one of the greatest singers and guitarists of all time.
