Larissa FastHorse
Larissa FastHorse is a Sicangu Lakota playwright, choreographer, and performing arts advocate based in Santa Monica, California. A 2020 MacArthur Fellow and 2025 Guggenheim Fellow, she became the first known female Native American playwright produced on Broadway with her satirical comedy The Thanksgiving Play in 2023. She co-founded Indigenous Direction, a consulting firm dedicated to creating accurate work by, for, and with Indigenous peoples, and is a professor of practice at Arizona State University.Browse all performers
