Isaac Brock is an American musician and singer-songwriter born July 9, 1975, best known as the lead vocalist, principal songwriter, and guitarist of the indie rock band Modest Mouse, which he co-founded in 1993. Noted for his wordplay, philosophical lyrics, and use of metaphors drawing from early-to-mid 20th century vernacular, Brock is the sole founding member still with the band and has appeared on all of its studio albums. He also leads the side project Ugly Casanova and is recognized for his work across indie rock, indie folk, and experimental music genres.Browse all performers
