Einar de la Torre is a conceptual artist and glass blower born in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1963, who has collaborated with his brother Jamex since the mid-1990s. Working across mixed media including blown glass sculpture, resin casting, lenticular printing, and installation, their baroque and maximalist work explores themes of border identity, cultural remix, and the intersection of indigenous iconography with contemporary consumer culture. The brothers have exhibited internationally and received numerous awards including the Louis Comfort Tiffany Award and Joan Mitchell Foundation Award.Browse all performers
