George Tsutakawa
George Tsutakawa (1910-1997) was an American painter and sculptor best known for his avant-garde bronze fountain designs, creating over 70 major public fountains installed throughout North America and Japan. Born in Seattle and raised in both the United States and Japan, he blended Eastern and Western cultural influences in his work, becoming a major figure in the Northwest School and modern Asian-American art.
