Barbara Earl Thomas is a Seattle-based visual artist, writer, and arts administrator born in 1948. Known for her work in painting, papercuts, prints, and large-scale installations that explore race, history, and social narratives, she studied under Jacob Lawrence and has exhibited nationally for over 30 years.
