Ming Tsao
Ming Tsao is a Chinese American composer based in Berlin, Germany, born in Berkeley, California in 1966. He composes operas, orchestral, ensemble, and chamber works that combine sensuality arising from sound materiality with formal rigor, drawing from both Western classical tradition and Chinese traditional music. His notable works include the chamber operas Die Geisterinsel and Mirandas Atemwende, as well as a full realization of Stockhausen's Plus Minus.Browse all performers
