Canadian actress and filmmaker born July 18, 1994, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Russell gained recognition for her roles in the Netflix series Lost in Space (2018–2021), the drama film Waves (2019), and the horror film Escape Room (2019), winning the Marcello Mastroianni Award for her performance in Bones and All (2022). She has also performed onstage in theatrical productions and co-directed the documentary film The Heart Still Hums (2020).
