Professor Brian Cox OBE is an English physicist and former musician, professor of particle physics at the University of Manchester and Royal Society Professor for Public Engagement in Science. He was formerly a keyboardist for the 1990s band D:Ream and has appeared in numerous landmark BBC science programs including the Peabody Award-winning Wonders of the Solar System and the worldwide hit series The Planets. He is known for his live science lecture tours, including the smash-hit show 'Horizons' and his current world tour 'Emergence.'
