Tuan Andrew Nguyen
Tuan Andrew Nguyen (born 1976) is a Vietnamese-American artist known for moving-image works, sculptures, and installations that explore counter-memory, testimony, and political resistance. His practice interweaves archival resources, fiction, and supernatural elements to rework dominant narratives and imagine alternate forms of healing, particularly addressing histories of colonization, war, and displacement in Vietnam. In 2025, he was named a MacArthur Fellow and is a cofounding member of the artist collective The Propeller Group, based in Ho Chi Minh City.Browse all performers
