Emmet Cohen is an American jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader born in Miami, Florida in 1990. He leads the Emmet Cohen Trio and is known for his fluid technique, innovative tonal palette, and mastery of stride piano, bebop, and straight-ahead jazz. A highly in-demand performer and educator, Cohen has performed with jazz legends including Christian McBride, Ron Carter, and Joe Lovano, and regularly performs at major jazz festivals worldwide.
