Kanariya Eiraku
Kanariya Eiraku (real name Tatsuya Sudo) is an English rakugo storyteller based in Tokyo who has been performing rakugo for over 30 years. He is the founder of the English Rakugo Association and the Canary English Rakugo Company, pioneering the art of traditional Japanese comic storytelling in English for international audiences. Since 2007, he has performed and taught English rakugo across the United States, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, bringing this centuries-old art form to diverse global communities.Browse all performers
