Degenerate Art Ensemble is a Seattle-based multi-art performance company founded in 1999 by dancer/director Haruko Nishimura and composer/conductor Joshua Kohl. Their work blends punk, comics, cinema, nightmares and fairy tales through visceral movement theater, dance, and live music, creating immersive performances that blur boundaries between performer and audience.
