Jourdan Imani Keith is a poet, playwright, naturalist, educator, and storyteller whose work blends political, personal, and natural landscapes to offer voices from the margins of American lives. A student of Sonia Sanchez and Seattle's 2019-2022 Civic Poet, she has performed over 250 times nationally and internationally, earning awards including the 2022 US Water Prize for Outstanding Artist and fellowships from Hedgebrook, VONA, and Jack Straw.
