Hugo Ludeña
Hugo Ludeña is a photographer born and raised in Lima, Peru who moved to the Northwest in 1993. He is known for his documentary photography capturing Latino life, celebrations, and cultural traditions in the Pacific Northwest, and has received the 2008 Seattle Mayor's Arts Award and 2008 PONCHO Artistic Merit Award. Beyond his own artistic practice, Ludeña has served as a teaching artist and mentor, founded Latino Cultural Magazine to support fellow immigrant artists, and worked with youth through photography education programs.Browse all performers
