Carlos Murillo
Carlos Murillo is an award-winning American playwright, director, and educator of Puerto Rican and Colombian descent based in Chicago. He is best known for his play Dark Play or Stories for Boys, which premiered at the Humana Festival at Actors Theatre of Louisville and has been performed internationally. Currently, he heads the Playwriting program at the Theatre School at DePaul University and has received commissions from major theaters including The Goodman, Steppenwolf, and Berkeley Rep.Browse all performers
