Rafael Soldi

Rafael Soldi is a Peruvian-born artist and independent curator based in Seattle who uses video, photography, installation, text and performance to reflect on masculinity, language, immigration, violence, and memory. Informed by his queer, Peruvian identity, his work explores gender expectations encoded in language and the complexities of immigrant and queer experience. He has exhibited internationally and received support from major institutions including The Andy Warhol Foundation, MacDowell, and the Bogliasco Foundation.
