Wes Hurley (born Vasili Naumenko) is a Russian-born Seattle-based filmmaker, writer, and performer who creates feature films, documentaries, and theatrical video installations. His autobiographical works, including the acclaimed short "Little Potato" (2017) and feature "Potato Dreams of America" (2021), explore his experiences as a gay Russian immigrant and his discovery of American cinema.
