Britta Johnson

Britta Johnson is a Canadian-American composer, lyricist, playwright, and visual artist born May 7, 1991. She is best known for her acclaimed musical "Life After," which premiered in Toronto in 2017 and won six Dora Mavor Moore Awards before opening at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego and Chicago's Goodman Theatre. Based in Toronto, she also works as a stop-motion animator and filmmaker, creating video installations and music videos for artists including Andrew Bird and Minus the Bear.
