Stewart Wong

Stewart Wong is a mixed-media studio and public artist from Hawaii (Kanaka Maoli, Chinese, and Russian ancestry) whose work spans fiber arts, sculpture, installations, and printworks. His practice melds craft with technology and addresses social justice themes, particularly celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage and experiences. Based in Seattle, he is a member of Northwest Designer Craftartists and has created major public art installations including works at the Bernalillo County Courthouse and Wing Luke Museum.
