Stephen Kitsakos
Stephen Kitsakos is an opera librettist, theatre director, and educator based in Key West. He has written libretti for multiple commissioned operas including "A Thousand Splendid Suns" (with composer Sheila Silver), "The Wooden Sword" (Sackler Prize winner), and "An Incident in Sutton Square" (finalist for the 2023 Dominic Argento Chamber Opera Prize). He is also a theater writer, journalist, and author who previously taught at SUNY New Paltz and serves as Artistic Advisor at The Studios of Key West.Browse all performers
