Ebo Barton
Ebo Barton is a Black and Filipino, Transgender and Non-Binary poet and educator based in Seattle, Washington. A six-time finalist of the Seattle Poetry Slam Grand Slam who placed 5th in the world in 2016, Barton's work has been featured in publications including Black Imagination and Button Poetry. Their debut poetry collection Insubordinate (2020) was named a Washington State Book Award Finalist, and as a leader in arts and activism, they are committed to creating opportunities for others to organize, heal, and rejoice through written, performative, and community work.Browse all performers
