Timea Tihanyi
Timea Tihanyi is a Hungarian-born interdisciplinary visual artist and ceramicist living in Seattle, Washington. She works across sculpture, installation, and participatory art, with a focus on ceramic 3D printing and mixed media that explores the intersections of art, science, intuition, and logic. An Emeritus Teaching Professor at the University of Washington and founder of Slip Rabbit, a technoceramics studio, her work has been exhibited internationally and addresses conditions of subjectivity, objectivity, and embodied knowledge.Browse all performers
