Shawn Parks
Shawn Parks is a queer, non-binary artist working primarily in textiles and public art. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design (2004) with a BFA in Textiles focused on weaving, Parks creates site-specific installations, quilts, weavings, and fiber-based works that champion women, queer, and feminine strength through color and joy. Based on Bainbridge Island, their practice explores memory, identity, and the intersection of traditional craft with contemporary art.Browse all performers
