Rick Araluce
Rick Araluce is a Seattle-based contemporary artist and Guggenheim fellow known for creating intricate miniature constructions, dioramas, and large-scale immersive installations that explore themes of nostalgia, emptiness, and hidden narrative. Initially trained as a painter and illustrator, he transitioned to model-making and has become recognized for his meticulous hand-built works that have been exhibited at major institutions including the Smithsonian American Art Museum's Renwick Gallery and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
