Claire Cowie is a Seattle-based visual artist born in 1975 who works across painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. Her work addresses ambiguities in perception, shifting landscapes, fragmentation of memory and time, and themes of identity and conflict, often creating dream-like compositions that incorporate urban architecture and narrative structures.
