Martell Ruffin
Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Martell Ruffin is a contemporary dancer and choreographer who trained at Joffrey Ballet and The Ailey School on scholarship. He has performed works by renowned choreographers including Alvin Ailey, Kyle Abraham, and Robert Battle, and has danced with Ailey II, A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Currently a performer at the Metropolitan Opera House, Ruffin is also an Ailey Extension instructor and freelance choreographer who has created works for Princeton University, Peridance, and various opera productions.Browse all performers
