Nelust Wyclef Jean is a Haitian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer born October 17, 1969, in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. He gained international fame as a founding member of the Fugees, whose 1996 album The Score became one of the best-selling albums of all time, and has since established himself as a multi-platinum solo artist and prolific producer for artists including Shakira, Santana, Whitney Houston, and Destiny's Child.
