British conductor Karel Mark Chichon (born 1971) is an acclaimed orchestra conductor who serves as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria since 2017. Known for his temperament, passion, and musicianship, he has conducted major orchestras worldwide and made his Metropolitan Opera debut in 2016 with Madama Butterfly.
