Timur Zangiev is a Russian conductor born in 1994 who has established himself as one of the most exciting and sought-after conductors of his generation, particularly known for his interpretations of Russian opera. A protégé of Valery Gergiev and student of Gennady Rozhdestvensky, he has conducted over fifty opera productions and collaborated with major international orchestras and opera houses including La Scala, Bayerische Staatsoper, Wiener Staatsoper, and the Bolshoi Theatre.
