Saundra Fleming
Saundra Fleming is a Seattle-based conceptual painter and poet with an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her distinctive style, which she calls "comic surrealism," juxtaposes unlikely subjects and explores themes of identity, consciousness, and the absurd through both abstract experimental work and photographic portraiture. A founding member of Hole in the Air international art movement, Fleming's work engages with philosophical and art historical questions while drawing inspiration from her childhood in Louisiana and Texas.Browse all performers
