Lynette Charters

Lynette Charters is a conceptual artist born in Yorkshire Dales, England, known for The Missing Women Series and The Matilda Effect Series, which examine how women are presented but not represented in art, society, and history. She holds an MFA from Chelsea College of Art, London, studied under painter Graham Crowley and sculptor Andy Goldsworthy, and has worked internationally in animation for DreamWorks and Warner Bros. Her work combines painting, installation, and performance to address gender representation, wage equality, and the underrecognition of women's achievements.
