Charles Samuel Bush is an American mandolinist and originator of progressive bluegrass music, born in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1952. As founder and leader of the New Grass Revival, he pioneered a fusion of bluegrass, rock, jazz, and reggae, extending the musical capabilities of mandolin and fiddle. A Grammy Award-winning multi-instrumentalist and two-time International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame inductee, Bush has influenced generations of musicians and earned the title 'King of Telluride' for his annual festival performances.Browse all performers
