Weedeater is an American sludge and stoner metal band formed in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1998. Known for their unfiltered, tongue-in-cheek style and frontman Dave "Dixie" Collins' raspy vocals, the band has released five full-length albums including ...And Justice for Y'all (2001), Sixteen Tons (2003), God Luck and Good Speed (2004), Jason...The Dragon (2011), and Goliathan (2015). Their self-described "weed metal" sound blends stoner rock, doom, sludge, and crusty elements with lyrics rooted in life experiences and humor.
