Xena Zeit-Geist, affectionately dubbed “The Queen of Obscene” and “The Professional Shapeshifter," is a cheeky, playful internationally renowned burlesque performer, cosplayer, emcee, and instructor based in New Orleans. Specializing in nerdlesque – the art of mixing geeky cosplay with classic striptease – Xena thrives on irreverence and opulence, daring to “brazenly disturb the universe” with their work. Xena is proudly queer & genderfluid, and resonates with RuPaul's quip, "We're all born naked and the rest is drag." As a producer of whimsical nerdy events, they bring fantasy to life via their production company The Society of Sin Burlesque and Variety via shows like Feys Gone Wild: The Adult Ren Faire and Chaotic Good Time: The Select-Your-Own-Adventure Variety Show. On stage, Xena is known for daring, creative acts that blend cosplay, kink, and sideshow spectacle – think grinder sparks, balloon swallowing, a bed-of-nails finale, or even devouring a lit cigarette as part of the act.
