Jim Ellis Freeway Park is a 5.2-acre brutalist urban park in downtown Seattle, officially opened July 4, 1976, that bridges the city's downtown to First Hill and the Washington State Convention Center. The park hosts year-round programming including live concerts, dance performances, movies, exercise classes, and art installations, and is recognized as a historic landmark and precedent-setting work of landscape architecture.
