The Seattle Center Monorail is an elevated straddle-beam monorail system connecting downtown Seattle's Westlake Center to Seattle Center in approximately 2-3 minutes. Built for the 1962 World's Fair, it serves as both a major tourist attraction and public transit service, providing access to the Space Needle, museums, and downtown shopping.
