Ruth Kapcia is a painter who studied at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Her goal is to engage the viewer, allowing them to explore and connect more personally with my work rather than dictate a specific viewpoint. While some of her imagery might be self-explanatory, other imagery is left to the witness's interpretation and imagination.
Jessie Summa Russo is a third-generation artist in West Seattle, as well as the current Director of Gallery 110. Raised in Somerville, Massachusetts, she received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College with a Studio Arts concentration and studied illustration at Massachusetts College of Art & Design. Hired to create digital imagery for a living, Russo never lost the compulsion to make art with her hands.
