Big band music comes to the Ballard Locks on Thursday, August 12—a free outdoor concert at one of Seattle's stranger and more functional landmarks. You'll get live music with a view of working lock gates and salmon heading upstream, which is either the perfect quirky Seattle evening or a solid reason to finally see what the fuss is about.
