Free Summer Concerts at the Ballard Locks

Live music at the Ballard Locks on Saturday, August 15—a free outdoor concert in one of Seattle's stranger and more functional settings, where you can watch ships pass through while a band plays. The locks themselves are worth the trip if you've never seen them work, and the botanical garden doesn't hurt either.
